Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Radio Frequency (RF) Microwave Designer to design, develop, test RF, and/or microwave systems architecture, components, circuits, or products. The RF Microwave Designer will perform antenna design, both reflector and array systems, frequency synthesizers, transmitters, and receivers. The RF Microwave Designer will participate in electrical design tasks including requirements analysis, specification generation, interface definition, component selection, circuit simulation, schematic capture, and board layout. The RF Microwave Designer will participate in simulation, testing and troubleshooting of RF circuits and subsystems. The RF Microwave Designer will develop test plans and procedures for RF subsystems and sub-system circuit design. The RF Microwave Designer will participate in the required design reviews. The RF Microwave Designer will design or develop radio frequency equipment and products which are used for the testing process of radio frequencies. The RF Microwave Designer will oversee and direct the production of the radio frequency devices and components to ensure that the design specifications are completely followed. The RF Microwave Designer will troubleshoot any problems found in radio frequency testing equipment or circuits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
2+ years of radio frequency hardware and analog circuit experience.
2+ years of radio frequency hardware and analog circuit test equipment experience.
Familiarity with the Linux command line.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
2+ years of Linux command line experience is preferred.
Familiarity with IT networking (ethernet and fiber) is preferred.
Experience working with radar, RF communication, and EO/IR systems is preferred.
Ability to travel locally up to 40% of the time.
Due to the nature of the work, an active Top-Secret clearance is required (TS/SCI is highly desired).
