Job Title: Digital Commerce Operations Manager

Reports To: Director of Digital Commerce

Job Summary: Lead and coordinate project documentation, requirements gathering, and release and regression testing surrounding development and integrations on the company website. Troubleshoot technical challenges related to e-commerce products. Recommend and assist in implementing automated processes and reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, communicate and conduct user-acceptance testing of new code releases and 3 rd party integrations including developing of test scripts as necessary

  • Communicate and socialize new web functionality to the organization, and collaborate with appropriate areas of the company to ensure optimal launch and utilization of new enhancements; measure post-launch project successes

  • Collaborate with counterparts across organization including cross-brand counter-parts and third-party vendors to develop best practices, recommend new initiatives and improve existing functionalities or integrate new functionalities

  • Write detailed requirements documentation in relation to functionality including ROI justification

  • Assist other Digital Teams with website change process and integrations including coordinating schedules, communication deadlines, and post release testing

  • Research and make strategic recommendations for the evolution of site features and functionality to maximize effectiveness of site

  • Utilize available customer feedback, competitor site review, and internal/external resources to make recommendations for ongoing site improvements

  • Lead cross-functional teams on web enhancement projects

  • Create and maintains best practices for web testing

  • Assist in coordinating A/B tests in relation to web functionality

  • Leverage internal reporting systems to lead development recommendations and calculate ROI for prioritization

  • Initiate efficiencies and drive automation in web site management including content processes

  • Stay current on e-commerce development best practices and make recommendations accordingly and based on optimizing bottom-line business objectives

  • Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business


  • Bachelor’s Degree in E-commerce, computer science or related field

  • 3+ years’ experience as business analyst and/or quality assurance tester for a sophisticated B2C e-commerce website

Technical Knowledge/Experience:

  • Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle

  • Fluency in Google Analytics or other robust website reporting packages

  • Usage of Google Tag Manager or similar tracking tools

  • Understanding of site issues including PCI and ADA compliance is helpful


  • Expert professional/technical writing skills are essential

  • Demonstrated strategic and tactical skills with proven attention to detail and excellent follow-through

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to motive and influence cross-functional teams

  • Proven problem-solving skills

  • Ability to take on multiple projects under tight deadlines

  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills

  • Flexibility to react to a fast-paced corporate environment

  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment
